Exploring Vancouver by Bicycle & Scott and Bailey!

Yesterday the group exercised their triceps & biceps in the Indian Arm Canoe trip, today it was the turn of the hamstrings and quads as we hired bicycles and explored the Stanley Park area of the beautiful city of Vancouver. Sporting helmets and safety advice from Miss Jones, small groups set off for a two hour adventure. We only managed to catch the staff on film!.....

The views were fantastic....

We were particularly fortunate to catch sight of sea otters playing in and out of the water...

If only we can see bears in the wild at Whistler our wildlife adventure will be complete!

On our return to the meeting point we were amazed and proud to hear that a group of our girls had stopped a robber in their tracks and retrieved a stolen handbag to a very grateful Canadian citizen; their reward was replacement of their Oreo ice-creams dropped during the chase! Well done to Esme, Ellie, Ellie and Maxine out tour detectives!

If you get the chance to spend time in Vancouver, cycling in Stanley Park is a must. The girls had free time to shop and explore the city prior to the final netball match of the tour.

Wiggins & Froome aka Miller & Jones!
